Thank you

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to making today’s carnival such a success.

The team of volunteers who’ve worked all year behind the scenes as well as on the day doing the unglamorous jobs like litter picking and marshalling the car park, as well as Warrington Borough Council’s Ranger Service, Birchwood Lions, Friends of Birchwood Forest Park, those on the Carnival Committee, my fellow Councillors and Town Council staff.

A big thank you to those organisations that financially supported this year’s carnival: Warrington Borough Council’s Community Initiative Fund, Sellafield Ltd, ASDA Foundation, Birchwood Shopping Centre, Birchwood Park and Birchwood Town Council.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the biggest annual event in the Birchwood community. We’ll see you all again this time next year!
